Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Seyyed Hadi Mousavi made the remarks in his Friday prayer sermons at the Grand Mosque of Mehdiabad in Pakistan's Baltistan region.
In his first sermon, he stressed the need to promote the moral and educational teachings of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA), describing her conduct as a valuable model for contemporary women and girls, and called on families and educational centers to pay greater attention to the religious and moral upbringing of the younger generation.
Mousavi said the blessed life of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) as a daughter, wife and mother is rich with sublime moral and educational teachings that can guide women in all eras.
He stressed that the personality of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) is not limited to her historical greatness, but her conduct is a practical model of chastity, modesty, purity, morality and family upbringing. The new generation, especially girls, must therefore be raised with inspiration from her example and adorned with religious and moral values, he said.
In another part of his remarks, Hojatoleslam Mousavi said the purpose of education is not merely to obtain a degree, adding that the educational system must, alongside imparting knowledge, play a role in nurturing worthy, responsible individuals with strong moral character. Neglecting moral education and the teaching of social responsibilities in educational centers can have undesirable consequences for society, he warned.
The Friday Prayer Imam of Mehdiabad also stressed the need to preserve the family foundation and social values, saying that in married life, mutual respect, adherence to family traditions and understanding of each other's background and social culture should take precedence over individual feelings and desires. Ignoring these principles sometimes leads to discord, the breakdown of relationships and the disintegration of families that enjoy suitable living conditions, he said.
Turning to international developments, Hojatoleslam Mousavi criticized US and Zionist policies and said America and the Zionist regime, which consider themselves the world's superior powers, sought to change Iran's political system, but now face challenges and problems in their own political and governmental structures. Those who rely on power and arrogance to seek to change other countries' political systems would do better to attend to their own domestic situation first, he said.
He concluded by saying that in global politics, instead of relying on power and seeking to impose their will on nations, justice, the independence of countries and the right of nations to determine their own destiny must be respected, because history has shown that policies based on arrogance and coercion never succeed.
